Worth the drive… it’s a long way… to the middle of a desert…
In the 1870’s and on lots of old farms came and went. This one just east of Ellensburg became a state park. Today’s visit was all about the massive crop of flowers blooming in late May 2016 plus some bonus photos of other things to be seen.
All these shots are in the vicinity of Franklin Falls (above and below)… near the top of Snoqualmie Pass where the river starts.
I wonder how many people driving west on I-90 know they literally drive over the top of a waterfall?
